Also available is a special Experimental Psychology edition
of the CD that will be on offer. This will include the contents
of this web site and additional material. Also included are
full size reproductions of many of the ads on this site in
a format that is suitable for experimental manipulation. In
a number of instances three versions of cigarette ads are
included i.e. the original version containing semi-subliminal
content, an experimental version ( variation to remove semi-subliminal
content ) and a control version (random variation of an area
equivalent to that modified in the experimental version).
Three draft introductions to experimental papers i.e. incomplete
papers, drawing upon the literature noted in the Bibliography
will also be included. If you base your studies on these papers
(update them with publications from 1998 onwards) you ought
to be in a position to produce results that will embarrass
any company making use of semi-subliminal advertising.
Copies of the CD can be ordered when supplies are available.
