1. Drag and drop the colours on the right. See the colour of the two numbered colours appear to 'change' and appear darker or lighter in comparison to the same numbered colour in the graduated set of colours on the left. The more the colours surrounding them provide a contrast, the greater the apparent difference. Overall, because of the lines the computer programme introduces between the reorganised colours, the two squares seem to contain different colours, even though your computer is using exactly the same set for both squares.2.
