Subliminal World Colour Square No. 2

1. Drag and drop the colours on the right. See the colour of the two numbered colours appear to 'change' and appear darker or lighter in comparison to the same numbered colour in the graduated set of colours on the left. The more the colours surrounding them provide a contrast, the greater the apparent difference. Overall, because of the lines the computer programme introduces between the reorganised colours, the two squares seem to contain different colours, even though your computer is using exactly the same set for both squares.

2. Matching the layout of the square on the right to that on the left will allow you to click through to some additional cool applets and information about psychology courses at the University of Teesside.

3. Click here to work with a more graduated set of colours.
